What is CandleStick Revival Ministries?
Founded in 1993 by Evangelist Don Woodard, CandleStick Revival MInistries began with a focus on encouraging the local New Testament church to reach teenagers through developing evangelistic Christ centered youth ministries and to encourage God's people to Revival. Today the ministry continues to focus on these things and also supports an orphanage and other ministries in Haiti.

A local New Testament Church ministry serving the Lord through Beacon Baptist Chruch in Roanoke, Virginia. Pastor Tim Kirchoff.
Who is Evangelist Don Woodard?
One of America's most loved evangelists to teenagers, Dr. Don Woodard is an Independent Baptist Evangelist that stands firmly on the King James Version of the Bible. He desires to encourage God's people in Revival, soul-winning and victorious Christian living. His messages are relevant for today, challenging, encouraging and patriotic.

At the age of seventeen, Dr. Woodard had a childhood friend that committed suicide. This tragic event put into his heart a burden for young people. The author of sixe books, Dr. Woodard has appeared on television and radio to discuss teen drug abuse, teen violence and family issues in America.

Dr. Woodard is married to his sweetheart Debbie. Together they have five children: April, Amber, D. Noel II, and John.
Where does Dr. Woodard preach?
A local New Testament church evangelist, Dr. Woodard conducts revival meetings, special days, friend and family days, youth rallies and teen crusades in Baptist churches. He is a frequent conference speaker with an emphasis on Bus ministry, youth ministry, sunday school and church growth.

Dr. Woodard does not support contemporary music or the modern ecumenical movement. He does not place himself in any "political camp," Dr. Woodard "runs with Jesus" and is supportive of anyone who is trying to win souls to the Saviour, standing on the King James Bible, supports the local New Testament church, that is helping the hurting and restoring the fallen.
What will the schdule be like during the meeting?
The pastor's schedule is the evangelist's schedule. The pastor is the boss and the evangelist is there to serve in any way he can be a blessing. He is able for soul-winning, visitation, counseling, nursing homes, jail services (especially to teens), schools, shut-ins, etc.
What does Dr. Woodard require to come to Church?
Absolutely nothing! Dr. Woodard travels by faith and does not place a price on his meetings. He will come on a "love offering" basis. He simply asks than an offering be extended at the close of each service to give God's people an opportunity to be a blessing to the evangelist and CandleStick Revival Ministries to assist with the financial obligations of the work.
What is a "Love Offering"?
Dear Pastor, please conside the importance of the love offering received in the meeting, it is a vital part of the evangelist's income and lively-hood and is used to encourage the progress of the ministry. Over the years we have found that needs are best met when God's people are given the opportunity to give to the ministry of the evangelist through a love offering received at the close of each service.
What about Travel Expenses?
Travel expenses are extremely high and it is helpful when a church can assist with the evangelist's travel expenses, the travel expense is a request, the evangelist has never required a dime to come to a church. When flying the evangelist travels commercially on a discount airline and recieves a good rate for his travel. The church will never be asked to pay more than $250.00 for air fare. If the church is not able to cover this expense, then the ministry will cover it in its entirety. The evangelist desires to be a blessing, not a burden.
What about lodging arrangements?
Three of Dr. Woodard's children are grown and the other two are older teens; at this stage of the game they seldom travel with him on protracted meetings. Most of the time he travels alone. PLEASE NOTE: The evangelist is content to stay in a prophets chamber or the home of a church member. Please be certain that the man of the house is always home when Dr. Woodard is in the home. He DOES NOT stay in a home where he is alone with a lady. A borrowed RV is also a good place for lodging the evangelist. If Motel/Hotel accommodations are used please be aware that the evangelist is able to get discounts with the Comfort Inn motel chain and will be happy to assist in making reservations.
What about meals?
The evangelist prefers that his biggest meal be at lunch time. He enjoys salads but does not eat tomatoes. If an evening meal is prepared it is best if it is served by 5:00 pm so the evangelist will have time to prepare for the evening service. We realize that some families may wish to have the evangelist in their home for a meal or take him out to a restaurant. PLEASE NOTE: The evangelist prefers not to go to such a meal if the pastor is not invited.
